The Traffic Light

Make it safe to say ‘I don’t understand’ by displaying this Traffic Light at the front of your classroom. A green light means ‘I understand’, amber means ‘I’m uncertain’ and red means ‘I don’t understand – yet!’

The Decibel Clock 

This large clock face has a pointer to show children the acceptable level of noise for each session; 0 for silence, 1 for pole-bridging (muttering your thoughts aloud), 2 for whispering, 3 for quiet talking and 4 for talking.
